Terms & Conditions
All custom orders require a minimum of 72 hours notice and are subject to availability. The only exception is our Ready TO-GO cake selection which varies by week and is limited.

Payment is required in full at the time of booking for all orders less than $100 USD. All orders exceeding $100 USD, require a 50% non-refundable retainer to secure your date. The remaining balance will be due in full two (2) weeks prior to your scheduled event. Your order is NOT booked until a retainer has been received.

All due dates will be listed on the final invoice and a reminder email will be sent on the due date. If the remaining balance is not paid in full by the due date, you will have 24 hours to make a payment before cancelation. Any monies paid will be forfeited.

Any payment arrangements must be made PRIOR to acceptance and retainer payment. All arrangements are subject to approval and not guaranteed.

Instructions on care and storage will be given with all orders. Once the order has transferred possession, we no longer assume responsibility for any products.
​
Should our staff become ill at any time and unable to complete your order, you will be notified immediately. We will make every attempt to secure a back-up baker, however if unable, you may choose to have your order rescheduled or refunded. Should you become ill or come in contact with someone who is ill, please notify us so we can arrange for porch pick-up. This will be the only option available in this situation.

Should there be severe weather, every attempt will be made to transfer the order to you. Your delivery or pick-up time may be changed or alternative arrangements may be made at our discretion.

DISPLAY RENTALS & SETUP: Cake stands, treat displays, decorations and back drop equipment are available for hourly rental. A refundable deposit of $150 is required in advanced. It is the clients responsibility to return all items to our bakery within 24 hours of the event ending. All items must be returned in the same condition as they were rented to avoid incurring a charge. Upon return, the deposit will be refunded immediately in full sans any damages.

ALLERGIES: We are happy and able to cater to those with intolerances or mild allergies to common ingredients. Our bakery however is not 100% free from allergens thus cross contamination may occur in very rare instances. If you have a severe allergy or require a bakery that is 100% free from certain allergens, we have several bakeries we would be happy to refer you to.

FLORALS: Any real florals will be provided by us without exception. Faux florals may be provided by the client however approval is needed beforehand.
​
CANCELLATIONS: Should you need to cancel your order for any reason, the retainer is non-refundable. There are no refunds for orders canceled less than two weeks in advance. Orders canceled with at least 30 days notice or more will be refunded monies paid sans the retainer.

Pick-Up, Delivery & Shipping
DELIVERY: We have very limited availability for delivery and we do book up quickly. When placing your order, please specify if you will need delivery and we will make every effort to accommodate.
For all deliveries, please provide us with a timeline of your event and/or the start time of your celebration. For weddings, please provide a timeline of your entire day. We would like to ensure that we arrive at an appropriate time. Should we become delayed by traffic or weather, we will communicate with the appropriate party and provide a new ETA. We are not responsible for any delays related to such above instances out of our control.
PICK-UP: If you are picking up your order, a designated pick-up time will be agreed upon when placing your order. We will confirm your pick up time the week of and any changes should be mentioned at that time. If you are unable to arrive at the agreed upon time, we will allow you to reschedule the pick-up time once and it will be at a time that works with our current schedule.
If you do not arrive at your rescheduled time for pick-up, the items will be donated and monies will NOT be refunded. Pick-up hours are as follows and are subject to change without notice:
Monday - CLOSED
Tuesday - 9am - 3pm
Wednesday - 9am - 5pm
Thursday - 9am - 5pm
Friday - 9am - 5pm
Saturday - 9am-9:30am; 1pm - 5pm
Sunday - 9am - 3pm
We will not be able to accommodate any pick-ups outside of the pick-up hours unless PRIOR arrangements have been made. Delivery and set-up fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

SHIPPING: Per Illinois state laws, we are only able to ship certain items. We strongly advise against shipping food products and cannot ensure the quality or time of arrival. Overnight shipping is the recommended shipping option should you choose this method of delivery. The shipping policy is listed on each products page for your reference. Should you place an order for an item that cannot be shipped, we will cancel your order and issue a full refund immediately.

Tiered Cakes
​
Our tiered cakes require extra time to create and extra love to transport. Any tiered cake that is three tiers or more REQUIRES delivery. We will NOT allow pick up of these cakes.
​
Our two tier cakes may be picked up, however we have strict requirements. If you are unable to meet these requirements, delivery will be required. There are NO exceptions.
​
- An SUV or large truck is required. Our tiered cakes will not fit in a standard sedan.
- The vehicle MUST have working air conditioning.
- The cake MUST be stored on the floor board flat and cannot sit on a seat or in someones lap.
​
We do require a pick-up waiver be signed as well. We are not responsible for any damage incurred to the cake in anyway. We provide clear transportation, handling and storage instructions. If you choose to pick up your cake, you release ALL liability once the cake is in your vehicle.
