Teach Me Sweets Class Policies

All class prices are per person. When booking your event, please make sure you select the correct quantity to reserve a space for each participant. Each individual will receive their own box with supplies and ingredients for both in-home and virtual sessions if you have chosen to receive a kit. Boxes for virtual sessions may be picked up as early as 1 week in advance and must be picked up at least 24 hours prior to class. If you choose shipping it will be mailed via flat rate USPS, so please ensure your class date is at least 1 week out.

Upon receipt of your virtual booking, you will be emailed a link to access zoom. Zoom is the platform that will be utilized for all virtual sessions.

COVID-19 has presented some new requirements for in-home sessions. Prior to your scheduled in-home session, all participants will be required to produce a negative COVID test taken within the last 48 hours OR proof of vaccination status. We apologize for any inconvenience however this is to protect all individuals. In the event that our staff should fall ill or any participant should feel sick, your event will be postponed and rescheduled to a later date. No refunds will be issued.

In the event of inclement weather that prohibits travel or the use of electricity, your in-home session will be postponed and rescheduled to a later date. No refunds will be issued.

If you have secured your event date and need to change it, there will be a $25 date change fee. If you need to cancel, no refund will be issued.

At this time, we do not offer our in-home sessions beyond the Chicagoland suburbs. We are eager to expand into the city of Chicago soon!
